However, while I will be happy with 1:59:59 to some degree, it is going to be go big or go home for this race.
I've written about this a few times, but I have been chasing that sub-2 half marathon dream for awhile now. I've come close once, and if I was just a runner I would have done it, but now it is time. My hope is to run around 8:40 pace, which would put me at around 1:53. Anything faster would be fantastic! (I still will be happy with ANY sub-2 time but this is what I think I am capable of at this time).
Now a look back at all of my half marathons, the good, the bad and the ugly.

There you have it, all of the half marathons that I have run in a short amount of time. Ten half marathons in four different states with times ranging from 2:00:44 to 2:39:08 (granted that was at the end of a 70.3 in almost 90 degree temps).
Here's to half marathon #11 (#2 in Pennsylvania) and CRUSHING sub-2!
And a shout out to Crystal and Janell who both crushed, seriously, the sub-2 mark today during their half marathon!
