Moving for Charity

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone!

This morning Mike and I ran 5 miles before we headed out to Mendon, New York for a charity spin event at Studio Move.  Our friend Amber had heard about the event from one of her co-workers and she convinced her boyfriend Greg, Mike and I to join her.

The event benefited Teens Living with Cancer, a local organization, and our group had the honor of riding alongside two teens affected by cancer.

The hour went by really quickly and it was a lot of fun!  The two instructors were really upbeat and kept the workout challenging but fun, we even were doing the YMCA at one point.  It was really exciting to see the studio full, as I'm sure it was each of the other three hours as well.

If you live in the Rochester area, I would highly encourage you to check out one of the other charity spin events.

This is a great event for a beginner or an experienced cyclist.  I'm sure that Mike and I will be back sometime soon!

Have you ever "moved" for charity? Who are you rooting for today?
