Under Armour Fleece Divide Hoody Review

First, thank you all for your kind comments on my previous post.  I know I will be a sub-2 hour half marathoner when the time is right and I definitely am proud of everything that I have accomplished in such a short amount of time.

I don't know about you, but I love hoodies! I could just sit around in them all the time, and I usually do when I am not working or working out.

When I was given the opportunity to try the Under Armour Fleece Divide Hoody, I jumped on it!  I love Under Amour already, and this product wasn't any different.

As soon as I saw it, I loved the color.  I don't have a lot of purple running clothes so it was a refreshing change from my typical running ensemble.

A couple of weeks ago I took my hoody out for a test run on one of our colder days so far this year, it was probably about 30 degrees outside.  This hoody is great for cold weather outdoor activities, like marathon training in Western New York during the winter!  It would also make a cute addition to your everyday wear.

Before I talk about how the hoody performed during our run, here are a few facts you should know about it:

Super-lightweight Armour® Fleece fabric is smooth outside and brushed on the inside

Soft, brushed inner layer traps heat for all-day warmth and comfort

Signature Moisture Transport System wicks sweat so it dries faster

Lightweight stretch construction improves mobility for full range of motion

As I already mentioned, I decided to wear this hoody during a chilly run a few weekends ago.  Mike and I ran from our house to a park nearby, did a few hill repeats and ran back for a total of 7.5 miles.  I was worried that I would overheat, but I never did.  I think I may have rolled up the sleeves but other than that I was comfortable temperature-wise.

The hoody did wick away my sweat, yes I still sweat when it is 30 or below outside.  When we got home the shirt that I was wearing underneath was a little wet but the hoody was nice and dry.

The only thing that bothered me during our run was the fact that the cords on the hood would bounce up and hit me.  I don't usually run with shirts or jackets that have cords/strings so this was new for me.  I also wish that it had thumb holes, but I am just slightly obsessed with anything that has them.

Overall, I loved this hoody.  I may not wear it very often while running just because I have other items that are a little bit more practical but I will use it every once in awhile.  I am definitely going to wear it a lot of other times this winter, since it will help keep me warm!

Definitely check out this hoody and all of the other wonderful Under Amour hoodies and sweatshirts.

I was provided this hoody for the purposes of review.  I was not compensated in any way and all opinions expressed within this post are, as always, my own.
