Hoody Winner

I realize that there is a blogging day of silence going on today in honor of the Newtown, Connecticut shooting victims.  I went back and forth on whether I was going to post the winner of the hoody today or not, and I am.  This does not discredit my thoughts and feelings about what took place on Friday, however, we all deal with things in a different way.  My thoughts are with the victims and their families during this hard time.

I was blown away by how many people entered the giveaway for the Under Armour fleece divide hoody! I also really enjoyed the range of 5K PRs that everyone posted in response to the comment entry.  Here are just some of the responses:

"My 5K PR is 32:31. I'm planning on breaking 30 next spring. Cutting back my mileage to get faster then work my back up!" - Red Barn Photography

"Mine would be uh.... I have no idea!! I'm so not a runner ;)" - Amanda

"My official 5K PR is 42:00. I set this 4 days before my hysterectomy. So far, my unofficial times as I am coming back to running are about 45:00. I'm hoping to be back at 42:00 by my Resolution Run race on January 1st." - HysterRunner

"My 5k PR is 37:40. I'm a "back of the packer" but it's all for fun!" - Mary Sue

"My 5k PR is 20:30 official. Hoping to break 20:00 in the 2013 season!" - Jenelle

"21:24! Woo hoo!" - Jen

"My official 5K PR is 27:19. Stoked. :)" - Megan

"My PR is 40min. I'm a rookie :)" - M. Louise Cunningham

"19:43 unofficial on the treadmill :) Official 21:40" - Marathon Mom

You all get two thumbs up for your 5K PRs!

So varied! I love that people admitted that they wanted to try to beat a certain time (who doesn't) and some even said that they have never run a 5K.  I hope that those of you who have never run a 5K at least try it once, who knows you may love it!

Now on to the winner:
