Case in point, this is what we have been up to so far on our trip:
Wednesday we didn't feel like running so we went to Echo Lake on the island and swam about .6 miles.
I'd swim in this over Lake Ontario any day!
The best part? We took turns swimming so that Bernie could go swimming too!
Hiking (hey, it rhymes with biking!)
On Mike's birthday we hiked up two new mountains, Parkman Mountain and Bald Peak. It was a relatively easy hike, although there were some steep parts.

Yesterday, we went hiking with my parents, my brother and his friends. We did two easy hikes and we walked a little over 3 miles.

We ran 13.08 miles (and walked .95 miles to get back to my parents' house) our first full day in Maine. We were supposed to do 17, but we were both struggling and it is really, really tough to be in the right mindset to run 17 while on vacation.
That wasn't the only time we ran, though! We also met up with our Reach the Beach teammate, Isaac, and went for a 4 mile run on Tuesday.
All sweaty from our run
Mike and I are going to run another time, tomorrow, and hopefully we will clock in 8 more miles on this trip.
I'm sad that we only have one more full day here, but we are going to make the best of it!
What are some ways that you stay active while on vacation?
