If you missed it, here's the race recap

We're really sad that this trip is over, but we have a lot of memories (and photos) that we can look back on.  It also helps that we have another trip coming up in less than 2 weeks!

  1. At first I was really confused when I read the customs part and then I realized that you went through Canada.

    1. The pics are great! I also love how you organized it.

    2. Thanks Rena!! Yea we went through Canada on the way back to Rochester.

  2. wait, why no wedding rings??

    1. Haha, you can read this post to see why:

And then that way there is less of a chance of us forgetting them in a hotel room or something.

  3. That deep-dish pizza pic is making me drool - we missed out!! Looks like y'all had a fabulous trip

  4. Why didn't you wear your wedding rings? I never take mine off - even in the lake or ocean!!
I can't wait to visit my sister in Chicago next month - I'm dying for some good deep dish pizza. :)

    1. You can see why if you go to the post that I put under Eric's comment, but basically we don't wear them while we workout, shower, swim, etc. so this way there was less of a chance that we would forget them in the hotel room.

  5. Nothing better than a run-cation! Looks like a really fun trip!

  6. I love, love, love this post! What a great way to recap a runcation! It looks like so much fun!

    1. Thanks Mandy! I thought it would be a fun way to recap rather than giving every little detail. The photos are what people want anyway :)

  7. Looks like a perfect runcation to me! Love Chi town and Wisconsin.. hello? Say Cheeeeese

  8. Looks like so much fun. Awesome :) I'm so jealous of your trip! I'd love to go to Chicago someday soon

  9. Ok - who else screamed out "HELLO Wisconsin" ?? (that 70s show) ;) when they saw the sign :)

Logan would LOVE that letter should've tried to pull it out of the ground.

Did I miss when you dyed your hair??? :)

and I have yet to be in Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Huron is my favourite :) the waves are awesome!!!!

  10. You guys were able to find a lot of new lighthouses on your trip. That's amazing!
