Fitness Bucket List

Becoming a FitFluential Ambassador has provided me with some great opportunities to learn and grow as a blogger and as a triathlete.  Recently we were asked to make a fitness bucket list on Pinterest, you can see my full list here, and I immediately started to pin away! (I love Pinterest anyway).

Seeing my one year, two year and lifetime goals all in one place is amazing, and a little scary!

What's on my list?

Compete in an Ironman (most likely Louisville)

Take on the Nubble Challenge 2 Mile Swim

Bike Around All 11 Finger Lakes

Become a Running Buddy for Girls on the Run

Run an Ultra

Qualify for Boston

That's only a taste of what I would like to (and know I can) accomplish in the years to come.

Do you have a fitness bucket list?  What's on it?

Good luck in achieving all your goals!

    1. It looks tough, but doable definitely. I would want my mom and dad to be our kayak escorts!

  11. Biking around the Finger Lakes is a great one! I'm impressed with the 2 mile swim. I just officially registered for a tri, only 500m swim, and I'm already nervous!

    1. We've biked around 2 of them so far and should bike around a third on July 28th (we are probably doing the tour de Keuka). You are going to rock your tri!

  12. That is an inspiring list! I'd like to quality for Boston but I think the only way I'll get one of those jackets is volunteering on the sidelines. I'll have the ultra in less than 2 weeks though!!!! Have you heard about the Alcatraz swim/run???? Swim through shark infested water to shore then a 7 mile trail run?!?!? People actually do this!

    1. Thank you! You are going to do great at your ultra.

I know there are a lot of races from Alcatraz! They have the "escape from Alcatraz" triathlon there too! I would do it, haha.

  13. Well, I accomplished one of those goals... qualified for and ran Boston in '99! The other ones you have... mighty impressive!! Don't really have specific goals right now, oh.. well, I might try to run a half-marathon every month in 2013- some of my teammates have done this!
